I was talking to Alejandra Guzman and she mentioned that her mother has been cancer free for a year. So today’s ride is dedicated to Doris Palazuelos and that she continues to get great reports!
If you would like to help create more positive stories like this you can do so at the following link to the American cancer society. Just click the link enter Fred kern in the search box, hit search then tap the participant block. Thanks!!!
Today’s mileage to Wooster is roughly 98 miles it’s looking like the average temperature will be around 65° the winds will be slight, nothing really to worry about and a slight chance of showers or sprinkles late in the day. Today was the day of pedaling ahead, taking pictures, getting passed and playing catch up. My favorite way to ride while on tour.
After that I came into the village of ChesterVille which was a pretty small town and as I was approaching it I had a great opportunity for a picture of wheatfields and fellow riders on the road heading into the village.
Here’s another picture of Ohio farm land and farms and you can see the clouds are starting to build they’ll threaten rain but that’s about the extent of it.
After that we rode through Mohican park which was probably a 2 mile stretch next to a river that was very nice. I met another rider coming in the opposite direction and I told him what a great ride he had here.
It was a pleasure meeting you all at the hotel. You and the group an inspired for all the people. It is really amazing that you can ride across the country just to help others.
