9jun24; off to Marysville, Oh.

It looks like another perfect cycling day and as we were milling about waiting for the start I saw this cool rock with an inside and outside layer.

And about 1 mile down the road was the Ohio state line.

And the Ohio fields are producing: wheat, soybeans, fallow and corn.

Followed by farm houses, barns, blue skies with clouds and fields.

Going in and out of small, med and large towns on a quiet Sunday morning allows you to view the businesses that make up the towns without having to worry about the traffic.  Some of those businesses are farming equipment lots and then at the the end of the town it’s more cornfields. Or soybean fields. Perhaps wheat or even alfalfa.

Some of the farmhouses are really nice and pretty good sized.
Here’s two more farm field pics but the one I found very interesting; it looked like someone sliced that cloud right down the middle and “ threw out the bad part”.

And finally we arrived in Marysville, OH.  It took us 108 miles and two detours off the schedule track to get here.  Tomorrow is a 93 miler, another long day.

Final day

Well this is the final day, 20 miles, most on a bike path, a meetup at Dunkin’ Donuts then a final 4 miles promenade to the Atlantic ocean....
