So we left Crawfordsville heading to Richmond, Indiana @9 o’clock this morning. Short day; roughly it will be 51 miles and there is a chance of slight sprinkles but it should not be anything major. So here’s what it looks like in the morning; organized Chaos, the route rap consisting of things to see, turns to not miss and the dinner hour.

Then from there, it’s out of the hotel and on the road. Traffic was pretty light for the most part all day and a few miles out I could see the Indiana wheatfields starting to turn yellow and getting ready to harvest.

We stopped in the town where the movie “Hoosiers” was filmed in the 80’s but just before I got to the gym I saw this very impressive veterans memorial.

After paying my respects I then went to the gym;  a lot of the cyclists were showing “their talent”, on the court….I’m pretty sure the NBA won’t be recruiting from this batch.

As I entered the town of Lewisville this group of riders passed me so I went after them got close and took a great picture of them entering Lewisville and the road exiting the town.

After Lewisville was the first and only SAG stop for the day.

After leaving the stop it was roughly 18 miles to go. I stopped and took a nice picture of the Rolling hills as we entered into the Ohio valley. Then I noticed this butterfly so I thought that would be a really cool picture.

It was pretty engrossed in getting nectar so I was able to get quite close and get a good picture. After that I was down to about 10 miles which gives me more scenery, more mountains, and more roads to photograph.

And that’s about it for the day I hope you enjoyed the pics and the story.

Final day

Well this is the final day, 20 miles, most on a bike path, a meetup at Dunkin’ Donuts then a final 4 miles promenade to the Atlantic ocean....
