Well we’re off on the way to Springfield a lot of cornfields, small farms, and small towns. I have a good picture of a farmer planting and pictures of corn fields
Our first SAG stop for the day is that the agriculture science complex.
And then more cornfields more planting you can see some trees and hills in the background and then we crossed the Illinois river.
It is pretty country quite spacious; not quite the hills that we had in Missouri. They’re more gentle not quite so high but still very green.
As the day wore on and the temperatures climbed and got warmer and more humid along the way we stopped in New Berlin, Illinois at a park and made it a watering stop right next to the veterans memorial park.
A very nice memorial to those veterans of the Armed Forces including the merchant Marines.
