16jun24 headin’ to syracuse

Todays dedication is for Beth Wirth, who lost her battle with cancer.

Crazy day today so I’m going to be behind, I’ll catch up tomorrow with pics and posts.

Ok, good morning! Yesterday was another good day for riding but I think our luck is about to run out. Lol. The first picturesque shot was in the town of shortsville; a beautiful small town with a stunning park around a river.

This was followed by more farms, fields, and barns.  I like taking pictures of barns;  I often wonder about how big the farm was, what the family was like that lived there and what was the history.

Soon enough we hit the first SAG stop at Geneva on Seneca lake;  what an incredible area, so beautiful!

Next was a ride through small towns, all small town Americana.  Very neat architecture.

Eventually we hit SAG stop two……ICE CREAM!

This was followed by another 30 miles to the hotel then the. Craziness started: rooms, dinner, preparations for the next day….
That’s it for sunday.

Final day

Well this is the final day, 20 miles, most on a bike path, a meetup at Dunkin’ Donuts then a final 4 miles promenade to the Atlantic ocean....
