4May 2024, last days in LA.

 at this posting there’s less than 12 hours to go.  Today was the final bike safety inspection check, our first meal together, and orientation.

Lunch was on the veranda; tacos, drinks and dessert.  It seems like a great grouping of cyclists from all over the US.  They all seem to be really strong and there’s definitely an excited electricity in the air, it should be a great tour and a lot of fun.

One last moment of “me” then its back to the room, another pack, recheck and prep for tomorrow.  Breakfast at 5, final bag pack and drop off by 6:30, probably another last room check then on the road at 7:00.   I admittedly am apprehensive on this ride even though I’ve done it before there’s always in the back of my mind, “what if?”.  Then I remind myself that one of the reasons I’m doing this is raising funding to help those who are battling cancer.  My link is below if you would like to join me.
